I'm done expending energy on this moron. Anyone wanna take up where I left off? Here's his latest rebuttal to my argument, line by line:
(Anything unmarked is my last argument. Anything marked with a > is Max's response)
None of your arguments in any of the cases you have provided are relevant here.
1) Already Established In This Thread By You: 16 year olds are mature enough to decide whether to stay in school or not. Therefore, students above the age of 16 are no longer considered minors by the definition of the School District. The grades representing students ages 16 and older includes students at Sophmore, Junior and Senior years of their High School careers - a majority of the students in any High School.
>The are old enough but not mature enough are are MINORs under the
>LAW and are you going to stand at the door of every meeting and make
>sure there are no minors in attendance in this sex club.
1a) Freedom of press and speech disagreements between schools and students are points of contention often because schools wish to infringe on these rights. In the case of promotion of illegal activities, the courts (and I agree with them) agree that limitation of free speech is necessary.
>and the courts have sided with the school
2) Homosexuality itself is not illegal, whether you consider it a dangerous lifestyle or not.
>it was is and will be again.
2a) Underage sex is illegal whether it's homo- or heterosexual sex.
>Agreed so there should be no clubs involving sex. I as a parent do
>not want anyone to say the word sex in front of my children with out
>my consent
3) The Gay Straight Alliance does not promote illegal activities, therefore the "Bong Hits 4 Jesus" ruling is irrelevant.
>Underage sex is illegal
3a) The GSA does not promote sex with minors any more than the Health Department does. Or Health class. Or the Drama club. Or Band. Or Basketball.
>None of these are clubs to PROMOTE the homo lifestyle
4) The students who wished to start the GSA at Honnonegah felt that there was no existing student group that addressed specific needs and goals of a significant portion of the student body.
>What specific NEEDs do they need help with their math or English?
4a) The goals the students sought to accomplish included: seeking out peer support and discussion among other students who are affected by gay issues such as discrimination and personal experiences, ways to start a dialogue with family and friends about tolerance, and understanding more about the nature of being gay in a community that is frequently very close-minded about the subject.
>Can I be a guest speaker and tell them my experiences
4b) The GSA is a nationally organized club, recognized by many other High Schools throughout the country, specifically organized to help students accomplish these goals.
5) The GSA is not a student publication. The official opinions of Honnonegah H.S. are not represented by the GSA any more than they are represented by the Young Republicans or the Young Democrats, the Key Club or the Math Club.
>No but the same principals apply
This isn't a freedom of speech or freedom of press issue, it's a freedom of assembly issue.
>Freedom to assemble to do what stand around and look at each other??
>No there will be speech involved I assure you.
There is still no reason these students, who are primarily aged 16 or older, should not be allowed to assemble
>Primarily ?? I’m sure they want to ASSemble a lot just don’t do it
>where the cops can get you.

I'm in stupidity overload..there should have been a warning attached to this post. I seriously have a headache now from reading all that crap. Of course it doesn't help i'm dealing with idiots on the home front either but still...next post me a warning that there is a danger of loonacy. I want to personally send each of those morons a copy of "Another Gay Movie" just because I think it would be FUNNY.

I recently made a youtube video on the freedom of speech getting raped for the insecurities of the ignorant... And in the end, a quote from it sums up a lot; "You don't have freedom of speech to be an asshole, you have freedom of speech to enjoy life to it's fullest and criticize your government."
The ignorance of the replies in that thread are astounding. Negating science and aspects of life beyond human beings... But it makes me wonder, are the frogs that can change sex if the population of either sex is diminishing, as to save the species, a sin against God?
Me thinks not maties.
One thing that struck me, was assuming the group is promoting the "HOMO" lifestyle... Meaning yes, it does, in the sense that if you are gay, you aren't a piece of shit that is some by product of the devils family vegetables and more likely you didn't have a choice in the matter as homosexually often occurs in nature, and I highly doubt that a gay chipmunk has the brains to process how he is going to be treated differently by the chipmunk government and (for the sake of keeping simple conversation) redneck chipmunks where ever they might live and still decide to be a gay chipmunk.

Wow, I just got thinking how bad it would be if humans had that sex-changing ability. I mean it would be fun and good in some senses, sure, but who has that kind of closet space?!

It'd be awesome, I wouldn't have to wait for my wife to get home to play with boobies... Just close my mouth, plug my nose, and breath out really hard and "pop goes the weasel".

Especially since who knows when the wives would even get around to GETTING home? They'd be busy off somewhere playing their own version of "pop goes the weasel"!
LOL! Besides, I just had this image of Mike trying to pop out boobies using his method and only one popping out and Danielle coming home to a red-faced, one-boobed Mike trying desperately to get the other boob to pop!

And I could do the same thing to get a wiener.

"government should be set up so that no man need be afraid of another" - Montesquieu
Montesquieu; arguably being someone who made the largest impression on the framers of the Constitution. He also believed women were not strong enough to run a full house hold (alone), but would make excellent politicians as they put reason and compassion over violence and power.
But then again, he also believed in slavery. But hey, he was French... I mean he was human, has to have a couple screw ups.
I keeeeeed, I love le French.
